How SKPDowngrade handles your account and SketchUp files
Who we are
SKPDowngrade (skpdowngrade.com) converts a newer SketchUp .skp file to an older version. We are not Trimble Inc., and we are not SketchUp. SketchUp is a trademark of Trimble Inc.

Account data
Google sign-in and email sign-in are optional. If you use Google, we receive the name, email address, and profile image Google shares with this site. If you register with email, we store that email address and a password hash. A session cookie keeps you signed in. You can delete the account from settings.
You can sign in with Google, or with an email address and a password. An email registration is active as soon as you submit it.
Model files
A file you convert is stored only long enough to write the older version, then deleted within 15 minutes. The version checker reads the file header in your browser and does not upload that file. We do not publish models and we do not use them as training data.
Payments
Card numbers are handled by the payment provider. We do not store card numbers on this site.
Cookies
The site uses a session cookie when you sign in, and a cookie to remember your language. A cookie named skp_aid stores an anonymous id for the conversion journey. It does not contain your email or your file. Page counts use Plausible and do not use an advertising cookie. We do not run advertising cookies.
